Following in the footing of their 2020 sophomore release "Alexa, Stay With Me" on Strange Rules, Ciro returns with a continued departure from the analog grit of their 2019 debut "I'll Take You Into The Guard Rail". Leaning further into the uncanny valley of sentient AI inspired narratives, vocaloid manipulation and frenetic FM synthesis to lay the bedding for an inorganic emotional gauntlet which slowly unravels over the course of its 11 tracks.

It took me a few listens to really "get" this, but I think because of the relatively short play time (two tracks, at about ten minutes each) meant that the record by it's very nature engendered repeated listening. If you're a fan of Emerald's "Allegory of Allergies" but want something that is less time consuming, yet somehow deftly arranges nearly as many ideas into it's modest timescale, then you could do a lot worse than this!
